  1. Homeschooling on its own
  • reviewed on a case by case basis
  • students are expected to outline the curriculum that they covered, readings lists used, as well as a covering letter with an introduction of who they are, their academic goals/what they would like to study

  1. SATs – are acceptable with a score of 1500 or higher as an average on all three components of the SAT plus the homeschooling material
  2. IB full program is acceptable – 2 year program
  3. IB certificate is acceptable. A certificate refers to individual IB courses.
  4. IB courses in chemistry and math are particularly important
  5. Grade 12 year is acceptable
  6. In terms of scholarship, homeschooling students who have established a basis of admission are more likely to be eligible given that a comparative analysis can be made. In the absence of a conventional basis of admission, it difficult for the university to assess a student’s eligibility if all that is presented is an individual homeschooling curriculum.
