Thank You Dear

Have you ever nagged your husband?  Have you ever asked him to do something and not really believed that he would follow through?  Have you ever requested he fix something and then grumble because he was taking too long?

I am ashamed to confess that I have.

My husband is a wonderful man.  He works hard all week and provides for a family of seven.  He helps with our homeschool math when he gets home and he helps me out with some of the housework.  I have arthritis and he rubs my feet when they are so swollen that I have trouble walking.  And still I nag him.

Over the last month, he has fixed my mixer, installed a pool, built a deck, repaired the car trunk, cared for our family, managed our finances and prayed with me.

Wives, if you haven’t thanked your husband for all he does, take a minute today.  Put aside thoughts of what has not been completed yet or areas in his life that you think need improvement (we all have those) and let him know how much he means to you.  All those little things he does that you have come to expect – appreciate them and appreciate him!
