God has a unique plan for each of us and He meets us all in different ways.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. “
Sometimes our plans don’t go as smoothly as we would like and sometimes there are delays that we must work or wait through. These verses are promises to us. God has rest and salvation for us. As He grows us, He wants us to come back and support and encourage those still discovering who He is and then He wants all of us to help one another. It is so easy to get wrapped up in our own little worlds – especially when we are comfortable – and forget that there are many who are struggling (and that we will be them again). God is sending us to lift one another up.
When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up – one on one side, one on the other – so that his hands remained steady til sunset.
Whose hand are you holding?
